It is hot here! It is almost the middle of September and we are at 90 degrees. Very warm for us. I am not complaining except for the fact that it is prolonging yellow jacket season. Since all of us have been stung multiple times this summer, I have decided to keep myself and the kids inside.

I thought I would take this opportunity to share some FASD resources with you. These are some incredible websites, with a lot of information.

I also want to share this workbook with you. I have seen it, and browsed through it. It is a great workbook. I am ordering one for each of my children. We are just beginning our journey into FASD.  I will not let my children slip through the cracks, therefor I will be the best advocate I can be for my kiddos. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power, especially in these circumstances.

Well, I finally got around to canning my salsa

Well, I finally got around to canning my pickles and salsa.

I do not know why I always think I will end up with jars and jars of salsa. Who knew, that 12 cups of diced veggies would equal 4 mason jars.. Oh well, at least I have another 100 tomatoes in the garden. Now If only mother nature cooperates and keeps the frost away.

Tomorrows project...

I can almost taste my cobbler already! Oh, and yes the box was much fuller, but I apparently have some peach thieves in my home.
